4491. Future Period of Inactivity Notice?
 
If you know in advance for a future period of one or more tax months that you will not be paying employees or directors i.e., you will not be making any FPS then you can send a 'Period of Inactivity' EPS. This is to inform HMRC that you won’t be sending an FPS for any of these future months.
Road Map – To E-File the 'Period of Inactivity' EPS
E-Filing RTI -> E-file RTI EAS, FPS, EPS, NVR, EYU -> EPS (Employer Payment Summary) -> Continue button -> Confirm button -> Live E-filing button

Road Map – To E-File the 'Period of Inactivity' EPS from the Dashboard Page
Dashboard -> Click on the Cross(x) in the EPS E-Filed column -> Continue button -> Confirm button -> Live E-filing button
