4800. How do I setup Week 1/ Month 1?
 
In our application, you need to set Week 1/Month 1 Indicator to 'YES' to start your tax calculation as per week 1 / Month1 basis.

If a tax code is on a Week1/Month 1 basis it means that whatever week or month of the tax year it is, the tax will be calculated as if it is the first week or month of the current tax year. The calculation will use the tax-free pay allowance for Week 1/Month 1 and ignores any previous pay or tax.

Please follow the below roadmap to set up Week 1/ Month 1 Indicator.

Road Map :

Employee -> View / Edit Employee Details -> View/Edit -> Tax Code Details - View / Edit -> Week 1 / Month 1 Indicator -> Yes - (Week 1 / Month 1 Basis) -> Save
