7105. What is Former employee rollback?
Rollback Former Employee allows you to rollback the data for an employee who you have already issued a P45 to. This function can be used in the following way :-
1. To cancel and withdraw a P45 which you issued by mistake and reinstate an employee.
2. To cancel and re-run a P45 in which you made a mistake and then re-run the P45 with correct data.
Please note, when you run the rollback, all the pay data will be PERMANENTLY deleted up until the point you rollback to. You are advised to keep copies of the original print outs for future reference if necessary. Please also note that you cannot rollback a P45 which has already been e-filed to the HMRC.
